Personal Data Protection Information Notice
Pursuant to the Law on Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("KVKK"), as the data controller, we would like to inform you about the processing of your personal data as follows.
1. Data Controller
As Canbis Gıda (the "Company"), the security of your personal data is important to us. Under KVKK No. 6698, we wish to inform you about how your personal data is collected, the purpose of processing, the legal basis, and your rights.
2. Personal Data Processed
The following personal data shared by you through the contact form, newsletter subscription form, or direct communication channels are processed:
- Identity Information: Name, surname
- Contact Information: E-mail address, phone number
- Content Information: Message content, subject line you submit to us
- Transaction Security Information: IP address, browser type, visit date and time, pages visited (through cookies and site analytics)
3. Purposes of Processing Personal Data
- Receiving, evaluating, and resolving your requests and complaints
- Communicating with you, responding to your inquiries
- Providing information about our products and services
- Conducting newsletter and promotional activities (only with your explicit consent)
- Ensuring the operation, development, and security of our website
- Fulfilling our legal obligations
- Conducting statistics and analysis
4. Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data may be shared, in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK, with authorized public institutions within the scope of our legal obligations and, on a limited basis, with our service providers (server, e-mail delivery service, etc.) when required. Your personal data is not transferred abroad; it is stored on servers hosted in Türkiye.
5. Method of Collection and Legal Basis
Your personal data is collected electronically through the contact form, newsletter subscription form, cookies, and direct communication (e-mail, phone) on our website.
The legal basis for processing is set forth in Article 5 of KVKK: "being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract", "being mandatory for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation", "being mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject are not harmed", and where applicable, "explicit consent".
6. Data Retention Period
Your personal data is retained for periods required by the processing purposes and the minimum periods foreseen by legislation. When retention periods expire, your data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.
7. Your Rights Under Article 11 of KVKK
- Learn whether your personal data is being processed
- Request information if your data has been processed
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used for that purpose
- Know the third parties (domestic or abroad) to whom your data has been transferred
- Request correction of incomplete or incorrect data
- Request deletion or destruction when reasons for processing no longer apply
- Request notification of correction, deletion, or destruction operations to third parties
- Object to results obtained against you through automated analysis of your data
- Claim compensation for damages suffered due to unlawful processing of your data

You may submit your requests regarding the rights above, along with documents proving your identity, through one of the following methods:

Your applications will be responded to free of charge within a maximum of 30 (thirty) days under Article 13 of KVKK. If the transaction requires additional cost, the fees determined by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.

Our website uses cookies to improve your user experience and to perform site analytics. Data processed through cookies is also covered by this Information Notice.
10. Changes
The Company may update the provisions of this Information Notice at any time. The current version takes effect on the date it is published on our website.
